The Falcon is upolstered with a very high grade, fine-grain Bycast Leather. This means the leather is pre-treated with a thin, invisible polyeurethane coating that is very soft & supple to the touch, but protects the leather against scratches and other abrasions versus non-treated leather.  The Bycast process on our leather modern contemporary furniture  is designed to give the actual  leather a smooth, supple, even look and warm, cosy feel that tends to last a long time.
